Landrosh Development, The Opus Chicago – Chicago, IL

Landrosh Development undertook a ground-up, six-story luxury live/work development in Chicago’s North Center neighborhood. The first two floors were programmed as a coworking space open to both residents and the public, while the upper four floors include studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments, a fitness center, and indoor and outdoor community amenity spaces. Workplace Studio’s initial engagement was a dual role as coworking and design consultant, providing guidance on building programming, space allocation, adjacency and flow between residential and coworking uses, and revenue and expense forecasting. Ultimately, Workplace Studio designed a cohesive and sophisticated live/work environment, unifying finishes, materials, and furnishings across both the residential areas and the independently operated coworking space.
