Work at Wheel

Workplace Studio partnered with first-time coworking operators to bring Work at Wheel to life in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Engagement began nearly two years before opening with initial space planning for the landlord, who envisioned coworking as the right fit for the vanilla-box space. When the operators came on board, Workplace Studio refined the program around their business model, emphasizing wellness, hospitality, and event-ready gathering spaces. From there, the team led full design development and FF&E specification, selected all interior finishes and furnishings, and assisted with procurement. As trusted consultants throughout the process, Workplace Studio also helped the operators build a complete day-one supply list, coordinated deliveries to site, and connected them with the right IT, AV, and cabling resources at each milestone, resulting in a thoughtfully designed space built for community, wellness, and productivity.
